Laporta Reignites Haaland-to-Barcelona Buzz with Intriguing Comment

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has reignited speculation about a potential future move for Erling Haaland following a recent interview with TV3, where he responded to growing transfer rumors with the phrase, “Nothing in life is impossible.”

While Laporta clarified that the club is not currently pursuing the Manchester City striker—who recently extended his stay with the Premier League champions—his choice of words has sparked renewed interest among fans and media alike.

“Haaland just renewed at City, so we’re not thinking about that right now,” he added, subtly leaving the door open for future developments.

Widely regarded as one of the world’s most dominant forwards, Haaland continues to attract attention from Europe’s top clubs. Laporta’s remarks, though cautious, reflect Barcelona’s long-term ambition to remain competitive at the highest level despite ongoing financial recovery efforts.

For now, a Haaland move to Camp Nou remains speculative—but as Laporta hinted, in football, nothing is truly off the table.
