Jason Momoa Confirms Romance with Adria Arjona After Lisa Bonet Split

Jason Momoa has officially announced his new relationship with Puerto Rican actress Adria Arjona – The 44-year-old star of “Aquaman” and “Game of Thrones” posted photos from a recent trip to Japan on Instagram. One of the images featured a group dining at a restaurant, with Momoa seen cuddling Arjona.

In another photo, the 32-year-old actress is standing next to Momoa, their hair blowing in the wind as they both smile.

Arjona reposted the photograph to her Instagram story, adding red heart emojis.

This development follows US actress Lisa Bonet’s official filing for divorce from Momoa. Bonet, whose real name is Lilakoi Moon, cited “irreconcilable differences” in the court documents submitted in January, nearly two years after they announced their separation on Instagram.

The petition indicated that the former couple had agreed on asset division and will share custody of their two children. Momoa and Bonet met in 2005 and married on October 7, 2017.

Momoa gained widespread recognition for his role as Khal Drogo in the hit HBO series “Game of Thrones.” He also starred in the sci-fi blockbuster “Dune” alongside Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, as well as the 2023 sequel “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

Jason Momoa is a renowned American actor, best known for his roles in blockbuster films and popular television series. Born on August 1, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Momoa’s early career included modeling and minor roles in TV series such as “Baywatch Hawaii” and “Stargate Atlantis.”

His rugged good looks and commanding presence soon garnered him significant attention in Hollywood.

Momoa’s breakout role came in 2011 when he was cast as Khal Drogo in HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones.” His portrayal of the fierce Dothraki leader brought him international fame and showcased his ability to handle intense and physically demanding roles.

This role paved the way for his casting as Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman, in the DC Extended Universe. His debut as Aquaman was in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” (2016), followed by a more substantial role in “Justice League” (2017) and the standalone “Aquaman” film (2018), which was a massive box office success.

In addition to his work in superhero films, Momoa has taken on diverse roles in other genres. He starred in the sci-fi epic “Dune” (2021), alongside Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, playing the skilled swordsman Duncan Idaho.

His performance was well-received, adding to his repertoire of strong, heroic characters. Momoa also reprised his role as Aquaman in the sequel “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” (2023).

Momoa’s rugged charisma extends beyond his film roles. Off-screen, he is known for his adventurous spirit and love for extreme sports, such as rock climbing and surfing.

He often shares glimpses of his personal life and passions on social media, including his dedication to environmental causes and advocacy for indigenous rights.

Momoa’s personal life has also garnered public interest. He married actress Lisa Bonet in 2017 after a long-term relationship that began in 2005.

The couple has two children together. However, in January 2022, they announced their separation, and Bonet filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Recently, Momoa has confirmed his relationship with Puerto Rican actress Adria Arjona, sharing photos of their time together on social media.

This new chapter in his personal life follows a successful and dynamic career, making Jason Momoa a prominent figure both in Hollywood and in popular culture.
