Popular influencer Lola Doll is fighting for her life after being shot multiple times outside her home in Georgetown, Guyana.

The 33-year-old, whose real name is Lolita Callender, was ambushed late on Saturday night in Texas Square, East Ruimveldt. According to the Guyana Police Force, a man on a motorcycle approached her parked car around 11:35 p.m. and opened fire before fleeing the scene.

Callender sustained serious injuries, with gunshot wounds to her face, neck, hands, and right leg. She was rushed to Georgetown Public Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

Police confirmed on Sunday that an individual has been taken into custody and is assisting with the investigation. Security footage released by local media reportedly shows a lone gunman walking toward Callender’s white Mercedes-Benz before unleashing a volley of shots.

The shooting was witnessed by her brother, who described the horrific moment to Stabroek News. “I was inside at home when I hear gunshots and run out… only to see me sister lying in she car and blood, if you see blood, pouring out,” he said. “She lost a lot of blood but she is a fighter.

Authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward, adding that tips can also be shared anonymously via emergency hotlines.

Lola Doll is widely known in Guyana and across the Caribbean for her provocative social media content and music videos. Police say investigations are ongoing as they work to establish a motive and track down those responsible.
