‘I don’t want this marriage anymore but my husband is threatening to k!ll me if I leave’ – Actress Evans Okoro cries out (video)

Nollywood actress, Evans Okoro has taken to social media to accuse her husband, Chibuzor Erikife, of trying to k!ll her after she asked for a divorce.

Her video came as a surprise to many, as she and her husband tied the knot in April of this year.

‘’I am living in fear, something strong is happening to me and if I do not come out to say it, I do not know where I will be tomorrow. I know a lot of people will laugh at me, I do not care.

The shoe that I took home is not my size. Chibuzor Erikife is threatening me, that if I leave him, he will unalive me.

I have written a petition about this and it is at the police station right now.

I do not want the marriage anymore. His bride price is not on my head. The day they came to marry me, they forgot to pay my bride price. My family called them last two weeks to come and pay my bride price.

Tell him not to harm my family or me. This marriage is not working. I have tried everything possible to make this marriage work. The shoe is very tight on my leg and I cannot fit in and I told him I want to leave and he said that if I leave him, he will unalive me.”

She alleged that Chibuzor married her, believing she would have money to spend on him.

‘’Chibuzor married me thinking that I have money to spend. When he came into my life, I thought it was all love and I saw the way it was going.

I was building this house when you came into my life and I will finish it. Please if you know you love me, I am not asking you for me…don’t give me and don’t ask me..let me just finish and concentrate on my life. He said no. Since then it has been hatred. He will not touch me. He will not touch me as a woman and I have complained to his family about this but they asked me to be patient and more prayerful.

This is not about prayer. This guy is threatening to my life.”

She explained that she travelled to Lagos for business and completed her transaction. However, her husband asked her to transfer the money to him, which she refused to do. She mentioned that this issue has become a point of contention in her marriage

She claimed that there are rumours he intends to abduct and k!ll her. She asked the public to come to her aid.
