I contributed to his education – Kenyan lawyer left heartbroken after boyfriend dumped her for another woman

Spread the love
A Kenyan lawyer named Cherotich Koech is having a hard time recovering from the heartbreak she suffered when the man she had been financially supporting for years allegedly cheated on her and left her for another woman without saying a word.
In an open interview with TUKO.co.ke, Cherotich, who is currently based in the United States, gave a very personal story of loss, treachery, and resiliency from the man she loved.
She claimed to have been in a committed relationship with the man since 2020, during which time she invested both financially and emotionally in their future together by paying for her partner’s education.
“I gave him my heart, my time, and even contributed to his education. I believed in us,” she said.
“But while I was still holding on to our dreams, he was already holding someone else.”
She revealed that the last straw was a social media post rather than a discussion or altercation.
Cherotich revealed the man didn’t use words to express his feelings; instead, he shared pictures of another woman while she was still recovering from everything she had sacrificed for him.
She said the silence that followed and the icy way he moved on hurt more than the image.
Cherotich, who is a rising star in the legal world overseas, is determined to get her peace and future back in spite of the pain.
“Let him shine. Let him post. But let it be known, some of us truly loved, and truly lost,” she added.
Cherotich reiterated that her story is not about bitterness, but healing, and perhaps a reminder of the unseen sacrifices that often go
“I’m focused on my life and growth. But that doesn’t erase the fact that I once gave my all to someone who later replaced me with a post,” she concluded.
