How much will Barcelona get for winning the 2025 La Liga title?
You Asked, We Delivered: Here’s How Much Barcelona Will Earn for Winning the 2025 La Liga Title
Barcelona’s triumphant 2024/2025 La Liga campaign brought glory on the pitch — and a hefty payday off it. The Catalan giants are expected to earn a reported €58.4 million in prize money for securing the title. But before fans picture piles of instant cash, there’s a catch.
That figure, which represents around 17% of La Liga’s €343.5 million TV revenue pool, is subject to deductions, deferred payments, and prior financial deals. La Liga distributes earnings over five years: 35% in year one, 20% in year two, and the remaining 45% split evenly over the next three years. In short, Barca won’t pocket the full amount right away.
On top of their La Liga reward, Barcelona also brought in additional income from domestic competitions, including around €9 million from the Spanish Super Cup and €1.2 million from the Copa del Rey, putting their total earnings between €60 million and €90 million for the season.
However, the club’s 2022 agreement with Sixth Street, an American investment firm, means 10% of their La Liga revenue goes toward servicing that deal — part of a broader strategy where Barcelona sold future TV rights to alleviate financial pressures.
While the trophy is in hand, the full financial benefit will take time to materialize — and not all of it will stay in the club’s coffers. In Barcelona’s case, winning on the field doesn’t always mean instant riches off it.
