New information has surfaced about the Russian tourist, Evgenii Kuvshinov, who was reportedly gored by a cow after allegedly attempting to assault the animal.

Kuvshinov, 26, was arrested in Thailand after he allegedly stripped naked and approached a male bull before targeting a female cow tied to a fence. The incident took a violent turn when the cow reacted aggressively, pinning Kuvshinov to the ground and goring him.

He was taken to the hospital by police with injuries to his rear. Kuvshinov now faces deportation back to Russia following the incident.

Details have also emerged about Kuvshinov’s background. A marketing specialist in the beauty industry, Kuvshinov was reportedly dumped by his girlfriend shortly before the incident.

In a desperate and bizarre plea, he had asked both Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump for help in winning her back. Kuvshinov had been living outside Russia since the start of the Ukraine war, possibly to avoid conscription.

Kuvshinov, who is from the Saratov region, left Russia for Antalya, Turkey, in 2022, then lived and worked in Dubai before settling in Thailand in May. He had been dating a Casablanca-born flight attendant from a major international airline, but she broke up with him, leaving him devastated.

Following the breakup, Kuvshinov’s behavior took a disturbing turn. After being blocked by his ex on social media, he posted a message to Russian President Putin, expressing a willingness to return to Russia and join the army if it meant reuniting with her.

In another post, he bizarrely appealed to former U.S. President Donald Trump, asking for help in getting his girlfriend back.

Kuvshinov has been frequently seen posing with luxury cars, staying in stunning villas, and even appearing alongside popular Russian blogger and journalist Ilya Varlamov. However, his recent actions have shocked many.

A paramedic from the Ban Na Doem Foundation, who treated Kuvshinov after the incident, suggested that the tourist may have been under the influence of cannabis, which was found in his car. The paramedic said, “The way we found him, his actions suggest he was trying to do something inappropriate with the cow.”

Police Lieutenant Thongchai Chaikit from Ban Na Doem Police Station reported that they were alerted to a “disturbance” involving a foreign man and a cow at 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, August 15. The officer noted that Kuvshinov was fortunate that the rescue squad arrived when the cow charged at him as he attempted to restrain it by gripping its head.

“When we arrived at the scene, the suspect was being attacked by the cow. Witnesses said he had first approached a male cow before turning to the female and trying to climb on top of her.

He kept walking and speaking Russian incoherently, with no smell of alcohol. In his car, we found marijuana and a torn passport,” said Police Lieutenant Chaikit.

Kuvshinov is currently being held at the local police station, as hospital doctors refused to admit him due to his erratic behavior.

The police are awaiting assistance from the tourist and immigration police to proceed with the investigation. Kuvshinov is also believed to have overstayed his Thai visa and is likely to be deported back to Russia.
