Heart Singer Ann Wilson Announces Cancer Diagnosis and Tour Postponement

Ann Wilson, the lead singer of the rock band Heart, has announced that she has cancer. As a result, the band is postponing the remaining shows on its Royal Flush Tour while she undergoes treatment.

In a statement on Tuesday, Wilson revealed that she had surgery to remove a cancerous growth and is recovering well. However, her doctors have recommended preventive chemotherapy and advised her to take time off from performing to ensure a full recovery.

Consequently, the rest of the shows on the North American tour will be rescheduled to 2025.

“To the ticket buyers, I really do wish we could do these gigs. Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025,” Wilson said.

“My team is working out the details, and we’ll share the new plan as soon as possible,” she added.

The rescheduled dates will be announced in the coming weeks, according to the release.

“This is merely a pause. I have much more to sing,” Wilson continued in her statement, noting that this would be her final public comment on the matter.
