Fast-rising Afrobeats sensation FOLA (Folarin Odunlami) is gearing up for one of the biggest moments of his young career as he prepares to headline his first major concert in Lagos—a milestone many emerging artists dream of achieving.

The highly anticipated show, titled “What a Feeling,” is scheduled for Monday, December 15, 2025, and will be held at the Balmoral Event Center, Victoria Island, one of the city’s premier venues for large-scale musical events.

The concert takes its name from FOLA’s debut EP What a Feeling, a project that introduced many music lovers to his distinct blend of R&B, Pop, Afro-Caribbean influences, and contemporary Afrobeats. Signed under Bella Shmurda’s Dagbana Republik, FOLA has quickly become one of the genre’s most promising voices, thanks to his emotional depth, crisp vocals, and genre-blending creativity.

His breakout tracks—Alone (featuring Bhadboi OML, with a fan-favorite remix featuring BNXN) and Who Does That featuring Bella Shmurda—have enjoyed massive streaming numbers across platforms. These songs helped solidify his place in Nigeria’s vibrant music scene, building a devoted fan base drawn to his heartfelt writing and soothing vocal presence.

Released in late 2024, the What a Feeling EP explored universal themes of heartbreak, healing, resilience, and self-discovery, resonating strongly with listeners. Many fans praised his raw, confessional style, noting how his music feels like a reflection of their own emotional journeys.

The upcoming concert—set to run from 7 PM to 1 AM—will allow fans to experience these songs in a live setting for the very first time. The event is expected to feature a mix of intimate performances and high-energy moments, perfectly capturing the versatility that makes FOLA stand out among his peers.

FOLA has consistently described his music as an extension of his inner world, crafted to make listeners feel something real—whether goosebumps, nostalgia, or comfort. This show marks a pivotal step in his ascent from a teenage high school band member to a rising artist contributing to the next wave of Afrobeats.

With excitement continuing to build, supporters can now secure their seats, as tickets for the “What a Feeling” concert are officially available online.
