Extreme eater, 24, d!es while livestreaming herself eating for 10 hours

A tragic incident unfolded when Pan Xiaoting, aged 24, succumbed during a livestream after an extended binge-eating session, shocking onlookers.

According to reports, Xiaoting, formerly a waitress, passed away on July 14 while engaging in a live broadcast of herself consuming copious amounts of food.

An autopsy revealed severe deformation of her stomach, which was found filled with undigested food, as per TimesNow.

Xiaoting’s livestreams were notorious for their marathon durations, sometimes lasting up to 10 hours, during which she consumed around 10kg of food. Despite concerns voiced by her parents and well-wishers, she persisted in her extreme eating challenges.

The influencer from China was participating in a Mukbang livestream, a genre where hosts eat large quantities of food while interacting with viewers in real-time.

China News reported that Xiaoting was known for her lengthy videos, showcasing her eating prowess to her audience.

Tragically, it was revealed that Xiaoting had previously been hospitalized due to gastrointestinal bleeding, a consequence of her hazardous eating habits. Despite this, she continued to pursue these risky behaviors, broadcasting them to her followers.
