Exclusive Singapore Deal Excludes Thailand from Taylor Swift's Tour
Exclusive Singapore Deal Excludes Thailand from Taylor Swift’s Tour – Thailand’s hopes of hosting Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour have been dashed due to an exclusive deal reportedly sealed with Singapore.
Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin expressed disappointment during a business event in Bangkok, revealing that AEG had informed him of the agreement.

According to Thavisin, the Singaporean government secured exclusive rights by offering a substantial sum, estimated between USD 2 million to USD 3 million per show, thereby restricting Swift from performing in other ASEAN countries.
Thavisin underscored the missed opportunity for Thailand, citing the potential benefits such an event could bring, including increased sponsorship and a boost in tourism. He noted that hosting the concert in Thailand would be more cost-effective compared to Singapore.
Despite the setback, the Thai government is actively exploring alternatives to compensate for the absence of Swift’s tour and is committed to bringing other A-list artists to the country later in the year.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, spanning all ten of her albums and featuring 151 shows across five continents, has etched its place in history as the highest-grossing tour, surpassing a remarkable $1 billion in revenue.
