Thomas Tuchel Names England Squad for 2026 World Cup Qualifiers
England’s focus shifts back to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers as head coach Thomas Tuchel has unveiled his 26-man squad ahead of the upcoming international break.
The Three Lions are set to face Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday, June 7, in Barcelona, followed by a friendly against Senegal on Tuesday, June 10, at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground.
Tuchel’s latest squad includes several notable selections. Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah earns his first senior call-up, having progressed through England’s youth system from the U16s to the U21s. Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney, Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are also featuring in their first squad under Tuchel’s leadership.
The team will convene in early June to begin preparations for the Andorra clash before returning to England for their encounter with Senegal.
