Donald Trump Keeps Targeting Kamala Harris with “Kambala” Nickname

Donald Trump continues to target Vice President Kamala Harris, now referring to her as “Kambala” in his social media posts.

Last month, Trump sparked outrage by admitting he doesn’t care if he mispronounces Harris’s name. Now, he has escalated his attacks by using this new moniker.

The nickname appeared to originate from a typo in one of his posts on Truth Social on Monday night (August 5). In his initial post, Trump wrote, “Food is now at an all-time high because of Kamabla/Biden INCOMPETENCE.”

In subsequent posts, Trump consistently referred to the Vice President as “Kambala.” In his final message of the evening, Trump stated, “Kamabla Harris is afraid to debate me on Fox News. She will be easier to defeat on the debate stage than Crooked Joe Biden, just watch!”

During his speech at the Turning Point USA Believers Summit last month, Trump dismissed claims that he mispronounced Kamala Harris’s name. He asserted that there are more than half a dozen acceptable pronunciations.

“There are numerous ways of saying her name,” Trump explained to the Florida audience. “They were telling me, ‘You can say Kamala, you can say Kamala.’ I said, ‘Don’t worry about it. It doesn’t matter what I say. I couldn’t care less if I mispronounce it.’ Some people think I mispronounce it on purpose, but I’ve actually heard it pronounced about seven different ways.”

The following day, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff responded with a sharp retort. “I know you have so much trouble pronouncing her name,” he said in a video shared by the Harris Campaign. “But here’s the good news: after the election, you can just call her Madam President.”

Trump’s latest attempt to mock Harris didn’t go down well on social media. Check out some reactions below.
