David Alaba set to leave Real Madrid as free agent

Real Madrid defender, David Alaba is expected to leave the club as a free agent when his current contract expires.
The Austrian International, who joined Real Madrid after a successful spell in Germany, is now approaching the final stage of his deal, with indications that he will not extend his stay at the club.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano on Friday, “David Alaba, expected to leave Real Madrid as a free agent, as reported since November. Several clubs already approached the Austrian defender, out of contract at Real Madrid.”
His availability on a free transfer is expected to attract further attention in the upcoming transfer window.
Alaba rose through the ranks at Bayern Munich, where he became a key figure for over a decade. At the German club, he won multiple Bundesliga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies (2013, 2020).
In 2021, he joined Real Madrid on a free transfer and quickly became a leader in defense.
