Dammy Krane’s apology to Davido sparks mixed reactions online

Spread the love

Nigerian singer Dammy Krane recently ignited controversy with an apology directed at fellow artist Davido, following his release from prison.

The drama stems from Krane’s earlier accusations that Davido played a role in his arrest, allegedly linked to the death of Tagbo, a former aide to Davido. These allegations had stirred tension between the two musicians, adding fuel to their long-standing feud.

After social media influencer VeryDarkMan intervened in the situation, Krane was reportedly released from custody. However, the apology he extended to Davido raised more questions than it answered.

In a now-deleted video, Krane posted footage of Davido appearing distressed and on his knees, seemingly pleading. Krane captioned the video, “PLEASE @davido, I’M BEGGING. I’M ON MY KNEES,” which was interpreted by many as a sarcastic jab rather than a genuine apology.

The response to Krane’s message has been polarizing. While some fans commended what they perceived as an act of humility, others criticized his approach, calling it disingenuous and provocative.

The video and its tone have left many wondering if the apology was a true olive branch or another move in their ongoing rivalry.
