Cubana Chiefpriest’s Paternity Drama with Alleged Kenyan Baby Mama Resurfaces

In 2023, Helen Ati, a Kenyan woman, accused popular Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chiefpriest, of fathering her child. Though the claims initially went under the radar, the controversy resurfaced in January 2025 after Chiefpriest got into a public feud with singer Burna Boy.

The situation escalated when Burna Boy mocked Chiefpriest on Instagram, calling him the “Owerri Rick Ross.” In a viral video, Burna also gave $30,000 to a man said to be Chiefpriest’s brother and pledged to support Helen, including sponsoring a DNA test in Nigeria. However, the plan was shelved after content creator Lucky Udu, who facilitated the move, claimed Burna withdrew due to questionable developments.

In an emotional Instagram post dated January 11, 2025, Helen shared that Chiefpriest sent her N50,000 just two weeks after the child’s birth in early 2023, following her plea for help due to childbirth complications. She received a total of N300,000 over time (around 25,000 Kenyan shillings) but claims Chiefpriest continues to deny being the child’s father.

Desperate to prove her case, Helen has repeatedly called for a DNA test, even jokingly proposing a 100-meter race—if she won, the test would be done. She also revealed how the ordeal has negatively affected her life, prompting her to contact Chiefpriest’s associates, including his wife, and seek donations for her child’s education.

Chiefpriest, however, maintains his denial and has harshly responded to public inquiries. After blogger Radiogad urged him to take the DNA test to end the drama, Chiefpriest allegedly bombarded him with messages and slurs, including accusations of homosexuality.

In response, Helen criticized Chiefpriest for attacking bloggers instead of addressing the issue directly.
