Clergyman, Odumeje, calls out Pastors Adeboye and Oyedepo for failing to speak on the state of the nation unlike during Jonathan's era (video)
Anambra-based clergyman, Prophet Odumeje, has called out his senior colleagues in the Ministry, Pastor Adeboye and Pastor Oyedepo for ‘failing to speak on the state of the nation.’
In a video that has gone viral, Odumeje decried the state of the nation. He decried the high level of poverty and hunger across the country and opined that fathers of the Christian faith in Nigeria should speak up.
He recollected how many of the senior pastors spoke against government policies when former President Goodluck Jonathan was in office but have all gone quiet now.
He said;
‘’The worst government now is Nigeria. See where Ghana is insulting Nigerians. Even Ghana’s currency is stronger now than that of Nigeria. We were insulting Ghana’s money before but today, Ghana’s currency can be compared to the dollar.
See Adeboye when it was the time of Goodluck Jonathan complaining ‘fuel is on the high price’, and now nobody is talking., Things are going costly every blessed day. Nobody cares anymore. Nobody is talking because they have already seen bad government in Nigeria as a normal life.’
These are people that are supposed to be talking about the bad government. Adeboye and Oyedepo. They are supposed to carry it strongly’
He called on the youths of Nigeria to rise up and ‘take back their country from the businessmen posing as politicians.’
