Chelsea have signed versatile forward Sandy Baltimore from Paris Saint-Germain on a four-year contract. Baltimore leaves PSG after nearly 200 appearances for the club and 28 caps for the French national team.
The 24-year-old is Chelsea’s second signing since Sonia Bampastor took over as manager from Emma Hayes.
In an interview with Chelsea’s club channels, Baltimore expressed her excitement: “I’m very happy to join Chelsea. It feels incredible. I’ve always wanted to play for Chelsea, and now it has happened!
“I’ve played against Sonia in France. She’s a very strong manager with an impressive record. She is a good coach and has won a lot. When I was at PSG, games against Lyon were always difficult and competitive. I am excited to work with Sonia at Chelsea.”
