Burna Boy has officially launched his 2026 music era with a major announcement that has already taken fans by surprise. The global Afrobeats superstar confirmed that he will be releasing his first song of the year alongside a high-profile, star-studded music video that promises to blend music, sports, and pop culture on a massive scale.

The “African Giant” revealed that he has teamed up with international sports broadcasting powerhouse SportyTV for the release of his brand-new single titled “For Everybody.” The track is scheduled to drop on Friday, January 16, 2026, marking Burna Boy’s first official release of the new year and the beginning of what is expected to be another dominant chapter in his career.

The announcement was accompanied by a cinematic teaser that has already taken over social media. The short clip hints at a visually striking music video packed with some of the most famous faces in European football. Although the full list of celebrity cameos is being kept secret until the video’s premiere, strong industry rumors suggest that top stars from both the Premier League and La Liga will make appearances.

The concept appears to blur the lines between the world of football and music, creating a global crossover moment that reflects Burna Boy’s international reach.

Sharing the news, Burna Boy posted a bold and inspiring caption that perfectly matches his artistic identity and message:

“For the dreamers, the ballers, the outsiders, FOR EVERYBODY!”

The statement captures the spirit of the song, which seems designed to celebrate ambition, struggle, and success across different backgrounds and cultures.

“For Everybody” arrives on the back of a huge 2025 for the Grammy-winning artist. Last year, Burna Boy released his eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, which was widely praised and further cemented his status as one of Africa’s biggest musical exports. He also made history with a standout performance alongside England Women’s national team manager Sarina Wiegman following the Lionesses’ triumphant Euro 2025 campaign.

With the release of “For Everybody,” Burna Boy is now setting the tone for 2026, once again positioning himself at the center of global music and culture as fans eagerly await what he has in store next.
