Beyoncé added to latest edition of French dictionary Le Petit Larousse

Beyoncé Featured in Newest French Dictionary – Beyoncé is set to join the ranks of illustrious figures in the upcoming release of the French encyclopedic dictionary Le Petit Larousse.

This edition will feature a diverse array of personalities, including acclaimed actress Cate Blanchett, French star Omar Sy, visionary filmmaker Christopher Nolan, and French rugby luminary Antoine Dupont. The 120th edition of the book introduces over 150 new entries, reflecting the evolving landscape of language and culture.

In February, Beyoncé achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Black woman to claim the number one spot on the US country chart with her track “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Additionally, she secured another groundbreaking feat as the first Black female artist to attain a number one country album with “Cowboy Carter.”

The Evening Standard awarded “Texas Hold ‘Em” a glowing four-star review, praising its infectious country-pop sound driven by Giddons’ skillful banjo playing.
