2Baba Appointed Technical Adviser to Benue State Governor
Nigerian music icon Innocent Ujah Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has been appointed as the Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach to the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia.
The announcement, shared in a video now trending online, was met with widespread excitement both in Benue and the entertainment industry. In the clip, Governor Alia praised 2Baba’s impact on music and his deep-rooted commitment to his home state.
“Thank you for supporting my administration and helping prepare for 2027,” Governor Alia said. “When people hear ‘2Face,’ they start dancing—even before the music plays. You’re a true entertainment guru.”
In his new advisory role, 2Baba will provide guidance on entertainment initiatives and community engagement programs aimed at promoting unity, creativity, and youth empowerment in the state.
Beyond his celebrated music career, 2Baba has long been recognized for his humanitarian work through the 2Baba Foundation, which advocates for peace, education, and good governance in Nigeria.
