Our objective is to undergo a sporting realignment with a new coach for the 2024/25 season. Until then, everyone within the club is tasked with achieving the utmost in the Champions League and the Bundesliga. The team, in particular, bears the responsibility for this.
We are confident in our ability to make a strong comeback in the Champions League, especially following the 0-1 first-leg defeat at Lazio.”
Dreesen highlighted the commitment to success, stating, “After the 0-1 defeat in the first leg at Lazio, we will move into the quarter-finals in the second leg in our fully occupied Allianz Arena with our fans behind us.”
Thomas Tuchel echoed the sentiment, stating, “We have agreed to conclude our collaboration after this season. My coaching team and I remain fully committed to achieving maximum success until then.”
Appointed as Bayern’s coach in March 2023, Thomas Tuchel secured the German championship just two months later, succeeding Julian Nagelsmann in the role. The decision to conclude the collaboration anticipates a strategic shift for Bayern Munich, aiming for a fresh start with a new coach in the 2024/25 season.
