Aston Villa football club of England have announced the signing of Tammy Abraham on a permanent transfer.
The England international joins Villa from Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas, having only completed a permanent move to the club from AC Milan last summer.
The 28-year-old previously enjoyed a successful spell at Villa, playing a key role in the club’s promotion to the Premier League during the 2018/19 season. Abraham scored 25 league goals and converted the decisive penalty in the shoot-out victory over West Bromwich Albion that secured a place in the Play-Off Final at Wembley.
His goalscoring exploits that campaign made him the first Villa player since Andy Gray in the 1976/77 season to score 25 goals in a single league campaign.
After leaving Villa Park, Abraham went on to win the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea before helping AS Roma lift the UEFA Europa Conference League.
