Arsenal Eye Move for Eberechi Eze Ahead of 2025/26 Campaign
Arsenal Football Club are reportedly exploring a move for Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze as they prepare to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Multiple reports indicate that the England international has attracted interest from several top Premier League sides, with the Gunners among the frontrunners. Eze currently has a £60 million release clause in his contract, which could rise to £68 million should all performance-related bonuses be triggered.
Arsenal are said to be prioritizing squad depth and quality as they aim to mount a serious title challenge next season and compete across all major competitions, particularly the UEFA Champions League.
In addition to their interest in Eze, Arsenal are also close to finalizing deals for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi and Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Gunners have reportedly triggered Zubimendi’s £51 million release clause and reached an agreement in principle on a long-term deal. Similarly, they’ve activated Arrizabalaga’s £5 million buy-out clause to secure additional goalkeeping depth.
With multiple reinforcements on the horizon, Arsenal appear intent on building a squad capable of challenging on all fronts next season.
