Applications Now Open for September 2024 at Music Leaders Network – The Music Leaders Network, a women’s leadership program, is now accepting applications for its September 2024 intake.
Running from September 2024 to January 2025, the program, led by Remi Harris MBE and Tamara Gal-On, seeks to empower women in the music industry with five to 25 years of experience.
The initiative, boasting a cohort of 12 members, contributes to a growing alumnae network of 70 women across various sectors within the music industry.
Designed to transform the career trajectories of mid-career women, including those who identify as non-binary or trans, the program emphasizes professional development. Alumnae hail from diverse backgrounds, with representation from entities like Fuga, Polydor, September Management, PPL, PRS for Music, AIM Ireland, and Blue Raincoat Music, alongside freelance music creators.
Tamara Gal-On emphasizes the program’s positive impact on the industry, noting the participants’ subsequent roles as mentors and leaders, creating a ripple effect.
Applications for the September 2024 intake are open until May 31, offering aspiring leaders an opportunity to join a supportive peer-to-peer network and receive the necessary skills to thrive in a male-dominated industry. According to a survey conducted post-programme, an overwhelming 91% of participants reported increased confidence in their leadership abilities.
