Apple Music has officially unveiled the list of Nigeria’s most streamed songs of 2025 — and the rankings confirm once again that Afrobeats giants continue to dominate the country’s digital airwaves.

In its newly released Top Songs of 2025 (Nigeria) compilation, Apple Music highlights an intense year of competition among the nation’s biggest stars, with Asake, Wizkid, and Davido all securing top spots and reaffirming their influence over Nigeria’s ever-evolving music landscape.

Asake clinched the No. 1 position with his blockbuster hit “Why Love,” a record that captured the hearts of listeners nationwide and maintained massive streaming momentum throughout the year. His presence doesn’t stop there — Asake appears multiple times within the Top 10, underscoring a dominant year and his continued reign as one of Nigeria’s most powerful hitmakers.

Right behind him is Wizkid, whose infectious track “Kese (Dance)” lands at No. 2. His collaborative work with Asake also shines brightly on the list, with “MMS” and “Bad Girl” both ranking in the Top 10. These placements highlight the explosive chemistry between the two superstars and their ability to deliver chart-topping records whenever they team up.

Davido remains a staple on the charts, contributing two fan-favourite hits that held strong throughout the year. His collaboration with ODUMODUBLVCK and Chike, “Funds,” secures the No. 3 position, while his track with Omah Lay, “With You,” takes the fifth spot — further proving his unmatched consistency in producing nationwide anthems.

The 2025 list also spotlights the rise of a new wave of artists shaping the Nigerian sound. Acts like Fido, FOLA, and BNXN earn notable placements with both solo releases and collaborations, reflecting the growing diversity, experimentation, and creativity driving the Nigerian music scene forward.
