Mary Earps is expected to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), who have been the frontrunners to sign her since January.
Although Arsenal showed interest in Earps last year, they have now shifted their focus to Aston Villa goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar.
Earps, one of the most high-profile players in women’s football, will be a major coup for PSG. The 31-year-old has won the FIFA Best Goalkeeper award for the past two years and finished fifth in the most recent Ballon d’Or.
