98% of Nigerian men love threesome. Only 10% of Nigerian women are straight – Woman claims

Spread the love

A UK-based Nigerian woman, Yvonne Funmi, has sparked heated conversations online after making a bold claim about the sexual preferences of Nigerians. In a recent Facebook post, she alleged that nearly all Nigerian men and women engage in alternative sexual lifestyles that society rarely acknowledges openly.

According to Funmi, “98% of Nigerian men love 3sums. 50% of Nigerian women are bi-curious, 40% are lezzz, while the remaining 10% are straight. But we are not ready for this conversation.”

Her statement, which quickly went viral, has stirred mixed reactions. While some users dismissed her comments as exaggerated and attention-seeking, others argued that she may be shedding light on realities many Nigerians are unwilling to confront publicly.

Critics have accused Funmi of peddling baseless stereotypes, questioning where she derived her percentages from. Some described her claim that only 10% of Nigerian women are straight as unrealistic, arguing that Nigerian society remains largely conservative in its outlook on sexuality.

However, supporters of her post suggested that Nigerian culture often suppresses open discussions about sexual orientation and preferences, forcing many people to live double lives. They argued that Funmi’s blunt approach might be uncomfortable but could spark much-needed conversations about hidden aspects of intimacy and identity within the Nigerian community, both at home and abroad.

The debate has now spilled beyond Facebook, with various platforms picking up her remarks and sparking larger discussions about sexuality, cultural taboos, and the generational divide in attitudes toward relationships.

Whether Funmi’s statistics reflect reality or are simply provocative guesses, her post has undeniably brought attention to a sensitive subject many Nigerians often shy away from. For now, the conversation she claims society is “not ready for” has well and truly begun.
