30-year-old flight attendant linked with Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, 17, addresses criticism surrounding her Italian summer escapade

A flight attendant and influencer associated with footballer Lamine Yamal has spoken out after receiving disturbing death threats.

Fati Vázquez, 30, reportedly spent a weekend with the 17-year-old Barcelona star, fueling rumours of a romantic relationship. Some users pointed out the similarities in locations and landscapes in photos posted by both individuals around the same time.

 

Pictures shared on Instagram by the pair, verified by Mundo Deportivo, appeared to show them on holiday in the same spot.

This fueled rumours of a possible relationship between them, generating outrage among some due to the age difference between Lamine (17) and Fati (30). The topic grew to such an extent that the influencer claimed to have received death threats from people unhappy about the alleged romance.

In response, Vazquez shared a message on her official Instagram account. “It’s sad to see people who have so much darkness inside that they wish death upon someone they don’t even know,” she began. “What others project says more about them than about me. I choose to live with the purpose of continuing to grow and surrounding myself with light. To those who wish me harm, I wish healing, because no one who is at peace with themselves wishes destruction on another.”

Amid this controversy, reporter Javi de Hoyos revealed some details. “Since Sunday, I have been receiving evidence that Fati Vazquez and Lamine Yamal coincided on vacation this weekend. We’ve seen Lamine on her boat, we’ve seen them in the same helicopter… we have several proofs,” he said.

However, de Hoyos later explained the Barcelona superstar’s position on the matter. 

“Lamine Yamal categorically denies being with her, he says they have nothing,” De Hoyos explained. “Lamine would not have gone alone to that vacation spot but with other Barca teammates. Most likely, Fati has something with another Barca player or is friends with one of the teammates.”
